during check up keenam (3Feb), doktor telah melakukan ultrasound. Doktor found that my placenta is not situated properly (di sebelah atas adalah tempat bagi plasenta). My placenta mcm terkebawah. Oleh itu, doktor nak scan lagi sekali pada 16 Mac 2012.
So, pada 16 Mac 2012, i went to the clinic. Pada mulanya nak bawa wan sekali. wan da siap ambil cuti. tapi oleh sbb kami ada plan pada 26 Mac (anniversary), win mintak wan cancel cuti 16, instead amek cuti 26. little did we know that he should have not cancel leave on 16 March. :(((
10 Mac baru je scan 3D/4D, everything looked normal, dats y win ingatkan semuanya oke. :((
So, pada 16 Mac, doktor scan baby and doktor punya reaction was like this "alamak..ya Allah...alamak!...ya Allah"
terasa dalam hati nak ku "belai-belai dengan penuh kasih sayang" muka doktor ni. kita ni risau dia bagi expression mcm tu pulak. bagilah tau kenapa. :(( gila!
n then the worse news so far was delivered to me. :(
doktor ckp "awk punya uri ni ke bawah la. saya risau betul. bila ke bawah bla..bla..bla.. saya nak refer awk ke hospital la..sbb bla..bla..bla.. awk nak beranak hospital mana saya nak buat surat refer supaya pakar boleh cek awk.sbb bla..bla..bla..."
ya Allah hai, luruh hati ni.
Malas nak cerita detail skrg. nnti lah i update some more dekat blog awinh.blogspot oke?

Placenta Praevia - bahasa layman.
Placenta Praevia ni adalah satu keadaan di mana uri terletak di sebelah bawah, menghampiri jalan keluar baby atau menutupi keseluruhan jalan keluar baby. ada 4 types. lateral, marginal, partial, central. partial n central tu jenis yang agak teruk berbanding lateral n marginal. boleh google. ada gambar. (i'm too sad to even paste a picture here)
Risiko? vaginal bleeding yang sedikit atau teruk yang boleh menyebabkan mommy tu kena admit dekat hospital untuk observation. most cases in malaysia yang i read about, lama mereka kena tahan di hospital.. bagi kes yang teruk, mommy boleh kena c-sect there and then (kalau teruk sangat) untuk keluarkan baby as soon as possible walaupun belum cukup bulan. ;(
Usually kalau uri terletak di bawah pada 20-24 weeks, uri tu boleh naik atas balik. tapi after 28 weeks selalunya uri tak mo naik balik. tapi there is always possibility, insyaallah. but worse come to worse, kalau uri tak mau naik, mommy kena undergo c-sect. tak boleh la normal sbb akan tumpah darah yg banyak.

3D/4D ultrasound scan - some useful info for preggers
as written in http://awinh.blogspot.com/, we did our 3D/4D ultrasound scan last saturday.
on 24 February 2012, i started to do my research on where do to the 3D/4D ultrasound scan. It was kinda late because back then i was already 27 weeks.. from what i found the perfect time to do such scan is 26-30weeks.. but by the time u reach 30 weeks, the baby is full in ur tummy and so it can't move much and u may not be able to see its face or gender.
taylor's college, kelana jaya
my sister did her ultrasound at taylor's college for RM60 back in 2009. her son was born on 09.09.09, she did the ultrasound maybe during her 6th months of pregnancy, (do the math as to when she did it with such price..) she said taylor's college is oke. but it was done by students, but it was oke and satisfying. i quickly called taylor's college. here was what i found:
- nowadays, it's going to cost u RM90
- they don't do it during weekend
- they do it only on thursday
- only limited persons per day
- u need to make early appointment because they are full all the time
when i called, there was an opening only on 15 march. but due to wan's constraint of taking leave from work and on 15 March, we are going to be 30weeks already..i didn't go to them. *sedih*
Puan Anson - Pusat Rawatan Mesra Seri Kembangan
next, i search on facebook "3D/4D ultrasound" and found few telephone numbers, so i called one Puan Anson. She is a sonographer of 25 years experience. She told me that she would be available on wednesday or thursday night 29 February or 1st March at Pusat Rawatan Mesra Seri Kembangan. When being asked about the price, she didn't know. She said, she didn't charge patient, the clinic does. So i asked the clinic and i was told that it was RM180.
I was ready to say yes, but later the clinic informed me that the ultrasound machine was under service/maintenance for the whole week.
Klinik Dr. Khalil, Taman Ehsan
this clinic only perform the 3D scan and not 4D. RM120 only on thursday.

they offered ultrasound 3D/4D scan for only RM100 and u will be refunded if they failed to show ur baby's face during the scanning. I called one Miss Wong and asked few questions. I was told that they have an opening on 10 March, Saturday. It was perfect because it only costs rm100 and it is on Saturday.! so i proceed to book (by making online payment of RM100) and later they emailed me the location of the clinic.
Having made my choice, we proceed to the clinic specified in the email on 10 March 9.40am. Klinik Pakar Wanita dan Keluarga Petaling Jaya, which is situated near famous restaurant Murni SS2.. i met with one Miss Jezzlyn, the sonographer. She is friendly to us mom n dad, chirpy and happy-go-lucky kind of lady. She is also good at her job kinda expert to me. We went in about 9.50am and we're done by 10.20am..almost half an hour of wonders.
so, i would suggest that u go to http://www.kasihkusayangku.com/ and go meet Ms. Jezzlyn! :)
Klinik/hospital klinik swasta yg lain
most of them will charge u RM190, RM250 and even RM300.. so it's safe to say RM190 and above.
p/s when u call for appointment ask them whether they are going to provide u with the cd of pictures and videos or not? if not, find another place! :)
it's important to have such cd because after u saw ur child through 3D/4D scanning, u'll tend to miss him/her and u can easily watch the cd over and over again..until ur child is born. trust me!

check up kali ketujuh - kancing gigi + cek gigi
during check up kali ketujuh, nurse seperti biasa, cek berat, tekanan darah.
kali ni berat kena complaint sbb terlebih dr 2kg.. have to control that otherwise, next check up kena air gula lagi skali *erkkk*
n then nurse tanya dah kena tetanus shot (suntikan kancing gigi) ke? oleh sebab belum, maka kenalah inject. nurse nak kasi tarikh lain, sbb effectnya 3-4hari tangan lenguh. tapi apalah beza pun tarikh bila2.. maka i asked for it yesterday.
fakta: first pregnancy kena ambil 2 kali tetanus shot. jarak antara first shot n second shot adalah satu bulan.
maka, next check up kena lagi sekali tetanus shot tu.
tipu btol nurse tu kata tangan lenguh..! bukannya lenguh tapi sakit. pegang pun tak bley.
selepas abes check up smlm, on the way nak keluar dari klinik, nurse satu lagi tahan n dia tanya "puan nak jumpa dentist tak?" of course wahai nurse, saya mahu
dentist explain everything u need to know about penjagaan gigi baby kita nanti. i thought she wanted to tell us about our gigi. rupanya baby's. tapi she did check mommy's teeth. ada 3 org mommies. 2 org tu doktor insisted utk dorg buat scaling la n mcm2 la..but when she saw my teeth, dia ckp..hmm..clean..u baru jumpa dentist ke? er? hahaha..bangga i.. "tak doktor it's been more than a year ago i jmpa dentist.." or perhaps 2 thn lepas? i cant remember lg..tp i asked for appointment ngan dentist anyway, sbb masa pregnant, gigi saket!
next check up 28mac

3D/4D ultrasound scan
3D/4D scan is best done when u are 26-29 weeks..by 30 weeks, ur baby has grown big and full in mommy's stomach, so it's hard to see what u want to see (face, gender etc.) because there will be small room left in ur belly for the baby to move around, so the sonographer won't be able to "pusing2" ur baby.
hey, word of advice:
when u reach 20-22 weeks, book ur 3D/4D scanning session!.. because by the time u reach 27 weeks, when u try to book, the best place that u can go is fully book up until u r 31 weeks! by 31 weeks, sudah lambat mau tgk.
i've booked my session. i'm going to be 29 weeks then. lambat dah tu sebenarnye..*sigh*
hopefully we'll be able to see his or her tutttt...i need to know the gender! tak sabo dah. and of course his/her beautiful face. ishhhh!!
