weight gain during pregnancy - how much is normal?

i read about the normal weight gain during pregnancy..and this is my favourite table of weight gain..

my bmi has always been 19..so, i should be expecting to gain 25-35 pounds (11.4-15.9kg) from the day i have not yet conceived until the last day of my pregnancy..

today (after 6 months of pregnancy) i have gained 10kgs/22 pounds..so, i should aim to gain 5-10 pounds more until 26 may 2012.

i think i am right on track.. :)

a dear friend says i did not gain as much "maybe because i didn't eat much (or i didn't eat enough? hmm)..she said pregnant women usually eat for two because of their unbearable always-hungry-appetite.. i always get hungry but i stop eating as soon as i feel that i am almost full, i can eat some more, but if i do eat some more, my stomach skin feels like tearing itself and that is not a pleasant feeling, so i stop eating. but what she said makes me concern about my weight..do i or do i not on a right track in gaining weight, so i googled and found this:

Question: Can I really eat twice as much now that I'm pregnant?

No. You may sometimes be tempted to eat twice as much, but that's not what the doctor ordered. Your body becomes more efficient during pregnancy and is able to absorb more of the nutrients you eat. So consuming twice as much doesn't double your chances of having a healthy baby – instead, it's likely to mean excessive weight gain for you, which can put you at risk for pregnancy complications. http://www.babycenter.com/eating-for-two

fuhhh..so, i am on track..tidak perlu risau..hehe..
